Cape Town Spurs snap up midfielder Siphesihle Maduna

Cape Town Spurs have announced the signing of former AmaZulu midfielder Siphesihle Maduna.

The 24-year-old was snapped up by the struggling DStv Premiership side following his Usuthu exit.

Maduna, who made the step up from the AmaZulu reserves to the first team in 2018, went on to play 86 times for the club, scoring seven goals and providing a further six assists.

He was linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs and TS Galaxy this transfer window, but opted to join the Urban Warriors.

The club posted on social media: “Sphesihle (Sphe) Maduna joins the Urban Warriors.”

Spurs are currently bottom of the league standings with just four points from their opening 16 games.

They are next in action against Royal AM at the Harry Gwala Stadium on February 14.
