TS Galaxy’s struggles continued as they lost 1-0 to Kruger United at the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium on Sunday evening.
Khetukuthula Ndlovu scored the only goal of the game in the 73rd minute but the Rockets were forced to play most of the second half with just ten men after Veluyeke Zulu was dismissed with 50 minutes on the clock.
The result left Bernard Parker’s charges in 11th place with six points from their opening six games as Abraham Mongoya’s newly promoted side moved into 13th place with their first win of the campaign.

Sedwyn George and Mpho Mvelase both had good chances in the first half, but Galaxy’s attacking play was disrupted by an injury to the George that forced the striker off before the break.
Zulu’s dismissal for a foul on Mlungisi Zwane was ultimately the turning point as the Village Boys took advantage of the extra man as substitute Ndlovu steered home a good cross from Zwane.
