Vusumuzi Vilakazi has been appointed as coach of the AmaZulu DStv Diski Challenge team.
The former Golden Arrows boss, who also had a stint as Chippa United technical director, was most recently head coach of Richards Bay, where he saved the team from the drop in the Premier Soccer League relegation/promotion play-offs.
He was relieved of his post, with Brandon Truter replacing him, but has now landed at Usuthu.
A club statement read: “We are pleased to announce the appointment of Vusimuzi Vilakazi as our new Diski Team Head Coach for the 2024/25 season.
“‘Kanu’ as he is affectionately known, joins us with a wealth of experience, having previously excelled at both the DDC level and Premiership level.
“We are confident that his expertise and vision will greatly benefit our team. We extend our best wishes to Vusimuzi as he embarks on this new journey with us.”
