Meanwhile, TS Galaxy head into the encounter on the back of three consecutive losses in their Betway Premiership fixture.

The two sides have met on two previous occasions in cup competitions, with the Rockets emerging victorious with a 1-0 scoreline in both clashes.

Chiefs were eliminated in the Last 16 phase of the Carling Knockout on penalties by Stellenbosch last season while TS Galaxy lost to Golden Arrows 2-1 after extra-time in their quarter final.

Amakhosi management recently expressed its backing of coach Fernando Da Cruz and the current technical team despite their underwhelming recent performances and early CAF exit.

However, the Mpumalanga based opposition have already made managerial changes, with Bernard Parker being relieved of his duties and Esau Mtsweni taking over temporarily as caretaker coach.

The Soweto giants won the last fixture between the two teams, defeating TS Galaxy 2-0 in a league match last season.
