Siwelele Say Goodbye to Pogiso Sanoka as Orlando Pirates Welcome Bohlale Ngwato

Sanoka’s contract ends in June, closing his chapter with Bloemfontein- based outfit. The 33-year-old has already left the city and is seeking a new club for next season.

His manager, Mandla Mthembu, confirmed the development and emphasised that the departure was solely due to contractual reasons, adding that it had no connection to the defender’s performances.

Sanoka joined SuperSport United during the 2024/25 season after featuring for TS Galaxy. He remained with the team when SuperSport later sold its top-flight status to Siwelele.

Meanwhile, Ngwato has already left after completing a move to Orlando Pirates. The midfielder is expected to link up with the Buccaneers when they begin pre-season preparations.

“He (Ngwato) is a very good boy, well-disciplined both on and off the field. When he was at the academy, he was still at school and was doing well,” former Chippa coach Thabo September told Kickoff.

“He is a very good player and skillful. He can run in and out and cross the ball, more like how Daine Klate used to do.

“You must not look at his body, he is very strong and hardworking.”
