Hugo Broos unveiled his squad on Wednesday, announcing the final 26 players at a glitzy ceremony ahead of Friday’s friendly against Nicaragua.
But it has now been revealed that the South African Football Association have also lined up a clash with the Caribbean nation.
Bafana play Nicaragua at the Orlando Amstel Arena before jetting off to Mexico, where they will be based ahead of facing tournament co-hosts Mexico on June 11.
While a date and venue are yet to be revealed, it is expected for the game to take place in Mexico after Jamaica complete their participation in the Unity Cup currently taking place in England.

SAFA vice-president Linda Zwane said on FARPost: “We have a game here in South Africa on the 29th [of May], and we have another game which we will announce.
“So, it’s not true that [Bafana will play one game before the World Cup]. Everything we do is on the basis of what the coach requests.
“If the coach says I’m not interested in playing, we will abide by that because these are the people who know what they are doing, and we have to, as an association, support the coach in whatever he might want to see happening. So, I think that is the position.”
