
Hendrick Ekstein struck a late winner as Amazulu sealed a 2-1 victory against Richards Bay in a KZN derby whilst Marumo Gallants fell 1-2 to Golden Arrows in the Betway Premiership.

Thabiso Kutumela gave Usuthu the lead just before the half hour mark at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

The visitors however hit back through Sanele Barns five minutes before the halftime break.
The second half was a cagey affair and just as it seemed tha game would end in a stalemate, Ekstein popped up to net a late winner.
Marumo Gallants 1-2 Golden Arrows
Golden Arrows claimed a solid 2-1 victory over Marumo Gallants in Pretoria, thanks to a brace from Junior Dion and a numerical advantage after a first-half sending-off.
Arrows striker Sede Junior Dion opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a close-range finish to put the visitors 1-0 up.
Marumo Gallants’ hopes suffered a major blow in the 36th minute when Katlego Otladisa received a second yellow card and was sent off, leaving his side down to 10 men.
Despite the disadvantage, Gallants pushed for an equaliser after the break. Eroine Agnikoi headed home in the 65th minute from a set-piece cross by Msindisi Ndlovu to make it 1-2.
Dion sealed the win for Arrows in the 62nd minute with his second goal, a right-footed strike assisted by Lungelo Nguse.
The game saw numerous yellow cards, substitutions, and injury delays, but Arrows managed the match well to hold on for three crucial points in a competitive Betway Premiership encounter.
