AmaZulu FC have bolstered their defensive ranks with the signing of Brazilian centre-back Gustavo Vieira Lopes, as reported by Far Post.
The 25-year-old arrives in Durban from Mozambican side Ferroviário da Beira where he established himself as a key figure. His departure was marked by a heartfelt Instagram post from the club, which read:
“Your time at Chiveve was synonymous with hard work, determination, and overcoming challenges. 💚🤍 Thank you, Gustavo, for defending this club with so much passion. May new flights, new victories, and new stories come!”
The message symbolised both gratitude and well-wishes as Lopes embarks on a new chapter in the Betway Premiership.
