Former Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro has opened up on the possibility of returning to South Africa for another coaching role.
The Spanish mentor led the Buccaneers to three MTN8 and two Nedbank Cup titles, alongside three second-placed Betway Premiership finishes in his short time with the Soweto club.
He left to join Egyptian Premier League team Al Ahly, but only lasted three months after recording just one win in his first seven matches
Riveiro is now back in South Africa, sparking reports of a potential return to the Premiership.
But he is only here by invitation from Carling Black Label ahead of the Carling Knockout final featuring Pirates and Marumo Gallants on December 6.
Riveiro told SuperSport: “I’ve been part of the Black Label journey for three years already, two special ones in the last two years.
“And now I have the opportunity to be part of the brand for a couple of weeks to make sure that we have an exciting tournament in the end.
“That’s why.”
