The Premier Soccer League has released dates, venues and kick-off times for the highly-anticipated Carling Knockout opening round of fixtures.
All 16 Betway Premiership teams take part in the annual tournament that kicks off on the weekend of the 3rd to the 5th of October.
Mamelodi Sundowns are the cup holders, having beaten Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in last season’s final. They play the final game against AmaZulu at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday, October 5 at 17h30.
Carling Knockout debutants Durban City kick off the competition against Polokwane City at Chatsworth Stadium on the 3rd, with kick-off at 19h00.
On Saturday, Orlando Pirates face Siwelele at the Orlando Stadium and Orbit College play TS Galaxy at Olympia Park Stadium, both at 15:00.
Golden Arrows are up against Betway Premiership leaders Sekhukhune United at the King Zwelithini Stadium at 18h00, and Mamelodi Sundowns host Marumo Gallants at the Lucas Moripe Stadium at 20h00.
On Sunday, Richards Bay play Chippa United at the Umhlathuze Sports Stadium as Stellenbosch takes on Kaizer Chiefs at the DHL Stadium.
