Magesi FC has confirmed signing a former Mamelodi Sundowns striker on a permanent deal in an effort to strengthen their squad for the 2025/26 season.
Thabang Sibanyoni began his career with the Brazilians but spent the majority of his time at the club out on loan with the likes of JDR Stars, Sekhukhune United, the University of Pretoria, SuperSport United and Richards Bay.
He spent the second half of last season on loan with the 2024 Carling Knockout Cup winners, who he has now joined on a permanent deal for the 2025/26 season following his Downs exit.
In his time with Magesi last season, Sibanyoni scored two goals and added two assists in 12 appearances.
A club statement read: “Magesi Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of striker Thabang Sibanyoni.
