Mokwana Lands in Tunisia for Esperance Move

Bafana Bafana winger Elias Mokwana has arrived in Tunisia to finalize his transfer to Esperance Sportive de Tunis. The 24-year-old has agreed to a three-year deal with the Tunisian giants, who have been actively building a squad for the CAF Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup.

Mokwana, who attracted interest from several DStv Premiership clubs, is set to undergo a medical before officially joining the four-time African champions. Esperance secured the player after reaching a transfer agreement with Sekhukhune United earlier this month.

The move comes as Esperance bolsters their ranks with high-profile signings, including the return of Algerian star Youcef Belaïli from MC Alger and Tunisian left-back Ayman Ben Mohamed from EA Guingamp.
