Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Siyanda Zwane appears set to sign a contract with Bidvest Wits after a successful trial period.
Zwane found playing time hard to come by at Sundowns and spent last season on loan with Golden Arrows.
Nonetheless, the experienced star has been with the Clever Boys during pre-season and he seemingly has impressed coach Gavin Hunt and his technical team.
Wits are in the market for a right-back after previous incumbent in the role, Vuyo Mere, did not have his deal renewed.
A source told Kickoff: “He has done well and chances are high that the club will look at signing him for the new season.”
Wits are also currently assessing former Kaizer Chiefs defender Sibusiso Khumalo as well as some other unnamed players.
