The 29-year-old former Maritzburg United, Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United midfielder joined Amakhosi in at the start of the 2025/26 campaign.
He netted two goals and provided one assist in 20 games in all competitions as the club ended in third place, behind Champions Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
Amakhosi are on their way back from a pre-season trip to Spain where they drew 1-1 with Rangers and Al Kholood before defeating Elche 2-1 on Saturday.
With new head coach Fernando Da Cruz at the helm, Ndlovu is confident in another positive season for the Soweto giants.
Reflecting on his side’s pre-season preparations so far, the player told his club’s website: “We are looking better and sharper each and every training session.
“We have a new coach with a new philosophy and we are adapting well to his ideas. We are all enthusiastic and very ambitious.”

“These games are a good way to test yourself as to where you are at. They were different types of teams. Rangers were more physical while Al Khalood were more tactical. You want to play against teams like that because it’s similar to what we are likely to face in the league and CAF Confederation Cup. We held our own and managed to score in both games, so those are positives we can take forward,” added the midfielder.
Chiefs next face Zimbabwean champions Scottland FC in the 2026 Toyota Cup on Sunday, 26 July.
“Going into the Toyota Cup, our main test will be to see how much we are attuned to the new coach’s philosophy and fine-tuning our combinations and general understanding of how we want to play,” Ndlovu concluded.
