He wasn’t in the matchday squad as Chiefs drew 0-0 with Polokwane City at the weekend.
Mmodi had started discussions about his future earlier in the campaign, but talks were postponed to allow the player to focus on a strong end to the season.
Chiefs are currently in third place on the standings with five games of their season still to play.

“If there are some other teams that are interested in him, then the door is open, but currently he is still a Kaizer Chiefs player.”
“We had conversations with the club, but we decided to let him concentrate on the team currently because we know what was happening previously, so let him focus on his game, and the rest will take care of itself,” Hlatshwayo added.
Chiefs are next in action against Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates at the FNB Stadium on Sunday.
