TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic to join Raja Casablanca

TS Galaxy president, Tim Sukazi, has confirmed that coach Sead Ramovic will be leaving the club to take up a position with North African giants, Raja Casablanca.

The Serbian tactician will conclude his tenure with the Mpumalanga outfit after Wednesday’s friendly match against Tanzania’s Yanga FC in Nelspruit.

Ramovic will be accompanied by his assistant coaches, Adnan Beganovic and Mustafa Kodro, as well as goalkeeper coach Greg Etafia. The move comes as no surprise, with the Serbian set to replace former Orlando Pirates mentor, Josef Zinnbauer, who is reportedly heading to the Middle East.

Sukazi expressed his support for Ramovic’s departure, highlighting the club’s philosophy of allowing staff to pursue better opportunities.

“Raja Casablanca is one of Africa’s top clubs, and it’s a rare chance for a coach to be offered their head coaching position,” said Sukazi.

“We wish Ramovic all the best in Morocco.”

The TS Galaxy boss has already initiated the search for Ramovic’s replacement and is expected to announce a new coach in the coming days.
