Transfer News: Kaizer Chiefs-Linked Manager Joins New Club

Algerian football giants, CR Belouizdad, have officially confirmed the appointment of Sead Ramovic as their new head coach.

The announcement comes on the heels of Ramovic’s departure from Tanzanian club Young Africans (Yanga), where he made a swift exit just a day prior, terminating his contract after a brief stint of less than three months in charge.

Ramovic, 45, brings with him a wealth of experience and is set to take charge of the Algerian powerhouse as they aim for success on both the domestic and continental fronts.

“The club announces the appointment of Sead Ramovic as the new head coach of the first team. We wish him complete success in his new assignment,” CR Belouizdad wrote on their official Facebook page.

“An official induction ceremony will be held at a later date.”

The club has expressed enthusiasm over the appointment, with the experienced coach receiving a warm welcome. An official induction ceremony is expected to take place in the near future, marking the beginning of his journey with Belouizdad.

At Belouizdad, Ramovic will reunite with Khanyisa Mayo, whom he faced as an opponent in the South African topflight when Mayo played for Cape Town City FC and Ramovic was in charge of TS Galaxy in the then DStv Premiership.

Ramovic takes charge at Belouizdad after the club parted ways with Abdelkader Amrani after failing to qualify for the knock-out stages of the CAF Champions League.
