The 22-year-old recently impressed at the FIFA World Cup 2026, scoring a winner for South Africa against South Korea to advance to the knockout stage of the tournament for the first time.
Maseko had spent last season on loan to Cypriot side AEL Limassol for the second half of the season, scoring two goals and providing an assist in 15 appearances.
According to reports, the forward has been left out of Masandawana’s pre-season tour squad to Austria, and the club is open to letting go of the player ahead of the new campaign, with his former Cypriot team interested in signing him.

The player had previously shared his frustration at not getting enough opportunities to play at Sundowns and is seemingly not in the plans of Portuguese head coach Miguel Cardoso for the new season despite his recent success with the national team.
Maseko has played 45 matches for Sundowns, scoring three goals and providing one assist following his move from the now defunct SuperSport United.
