Thabo Moloisane says Stellenbosch are on track to achieve their goals for the season.
Steve Barker’s side made it their aim to reach a cup final this term, alongside a CAF place, after a narrow semi-final defeat in last season’s Nedbank Cup to Sekhukhune United, while ended in sixth place in the DStv Premiership.
This season Stellies suffered a heart-breaking penalty shootout loss to Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 semis before beating Richards Bay in their Carling Knockout Cup semi-final to finally secure a final tie, with TS Galaxy.
In the league, Barker’s side are currently in third place, just two points behind second-placed Cape Town City, after 14 games.
Moloisane said on iDiski Times: “In our planning in the pre-season camp, one of our goals was to reach the cup final and that is happening now.
“The second one was to finish the season in CAF position so if we can achieve all the plans that we have for the season will be a successful season for us.”
