Maritzburg United has confirmed the signing of Cameroon goalkeeper Anye Derick Fru.
The 27-year-old joins the DStv Premiership club after leaving Cameroon Elite One side Coton Sport FC.
A former Union Douala and Shoalah player, Fru has signed a two-year contract with the Team of Choice.
Maritzburg boss Farook Kadodia told KickOff: “Derick has signed a two-year deal.
“We were impressed by what he did last season in Cameroon, helping Cotonsport win the championship.
“I think the good thing is that he knows there will be good competition between himself and King Ndlovu.
“His signing adds good competition to our squad.”
