AS Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni’s move to Real Madrid is reportedly a few hours away as talks between the two clubs have intensified.
The 22-year-old has been on the wanted list of a number of clubs but Los Blancos seem to be favoured to sign the midfielder.
According to Marca, talks have intensified between Real and Monaco and a solution over his future will be agreed upon in the next 48 hours.
Earlier, according to football journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Real reportedly made a huge offer of €85M plus add-ons for the midfielder.
The news was also confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, who said that the Spanish club have improved their bid for Tchouameni.
Tchouameni has made 50 appearances for Monaco this season, scoring three goals and two assists.
He averages 2.9 interceptions per game which is the highest for any player in Ligue 1 this season.
