Swedish Allsvenskan: Gameweek 12 Preview

Our attention moves to Sweden for a little more domestic football action, the weekend is brimming with excellent sport, it’s the HollywoodBets Durban July, Test Match rugby, Wimbledon, and the Formula 1! Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without the beautiful game wrapping those betting slips together delicately and so we’ll take whatever football we can get!

Enjoy…

Friday 1 July

GIF
Draw 17/10
Malmo
(21:00)
Malmo have been treading water thus far in their domestic league, but they have the firepower and the confidence to easily dispatch their hosts on Friday evening. Sundsvall come into the game winning just one from their last five and, having shipped 14 goals in the process, I can’t see them earning anything here.

Malmo is the pick!

Saturday 2 July

AIK
Draw
Mjallby
(15:00)
Football in Sweden gets off to an early(ish) start, but I don’t think these two sides attract too much support and adoration outside of their home country. Their results have both been sort of ‘run of the mill’ – but I can’t find anything to split them.

Back the draw and be done with it.

Helsingborg
Draw
Kalmar
(17:30)

The visitors come into the game in a largely better position than their hosts and will enjoy some confidence given their recent results. Helsingborg have not won a league game since the early embers of the year – and I don’t suppose there is much reason to believe something will change here.

Get on the away win.
Sunday 3 July

Djurgarden
Draw
Hammarby
(15:00)

Two evenly matched sides here, sitting third and fourth respectively on the domestic log – should serve up some good opportunity to earn a couple of coins.

They have seemingly matched each other all the way through the season so far and history suggests that might be replicated come Sunday afternoon. I favour the draw in this one.

Varberg
Draw
Varnamo
(15:00)

Not quite the table topping fixture of the previous encounter, but a well-matched exchange nonetheless! Varberg have managed to get a positive result in all their recent fixtures when playing at home – while Varnamo have struggled to be as consistent on the road.

Win/draw double chance on the home team seems a no brainer.

Hacken
Draw
Elfsborg
(17:30)

The hosts have been fantastic so far in the domestic element of their season, unbeaten in their last 11 fixtures they seem to look to turn the proverbial screw when playing on their home patch!

I don’t think the run comes to an end here though – add them to every multiple this weekend.

Norrkoping
Draw
Sirius
(17:30)

Now at the risk of sounding like a stuck record, this is yet another encounter which is incredibly evenly matched. Their statistics, history and log position are almost identical…there really is not much to split them.

The only shrewd nugget I think we’ve managed to find is that Norrkoping is lethal at home. They have not lost in their own back garden in as many as 15 outings in the league and as a result I am happy to go in strongly with the home win/draw double chance play.
