Mamelodi Sundowns have been paired with Egyptian giants Al Ahly in the draw for the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League.
Pitso Mosimane’s men booked their place in the last eight of Africa’s most prestigious cup competition after finishing top of Group C, five points clear of Wydad Casablanca.
Al Ahly, meanwhile, narrowly missed out on finishing top of Group B, just one point behind Étoile du Sahel and one ahead of a disappointed Al-Hilal.
Elsewhere, Moroccan outfit Raja Casablanca take on TP Mazembe of the DRC, while another Egyptian powerhouse in Zamalek lock horns with Espérance de Tunis.
Wydad Casablanca and Étoile du Sahel will contest the other quarter-final for a place in the final four.
The first leg of the quarter-finals have been scheduled for 28–29 February, with the return leg set to take place on 6–7 March.
