Sundowns announce Mbule capture

Mamelodi Sundowns have announced the signing of SuperSport United midfielder Sipho Mbule.

The 24-year-old came through the Matsatsantsa youth academy before making the step up in 2017.
He made 100 appearances in all competitions for SuperSport and has four South Africa national team caps.
A statement from the Brazilians read: “Mamelodi Sundowns have completed the signing of central midfielder Sipho Mbule who will represent Bafana Ba Style on a 3-year contract deal ahead of the new season.

“The sleek midfielder who started out his career after joining SuperSport United’s football academy has also played at under-17, 20 and 23 level of the national team. Mbule made 10 league appearances for Matsatsantsa this season.

“The 24-year-old becomes the latest player from SuperSport to join Masandawana this off-season and will join up with his former teammates Grant Kekana, Aubrey Modiba and Teboho Mokoena at Chloorkop.
