Suarez announces signing with Uruguayan giants Nacional

Legendary striker Luis Suarez has announced that he has signed a pre-agreement with Nacional to return to his native Uruguay in the twilight of his career and turn out for the most successful club in the country’s history.

Suarez has had a glittering career, having won seven league titles and a UEFA Champions League across all impressive spells with Ajax Amsterdam, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid.
It was at Nacional where the 35-year-old started his career in 2005 and has come back to where it started for the twilight of his career.
The Uruguayan announced his return to Nacional and South American football on Twitter, saying: “I’ve now reached a pre-agreement in order to join Nacional, it was impossible for me to say to this opportunity.

“I hope final details will be resolved soon in order to complete the deal officially.”
