Stoke v Cardiff Preview

Barclays Premier League | Wednesday 4 December 2013 | Britannia Stadium | 21:45

To Win (90mins)

Stoke 21/20

Draw 24/10

Cardiff 11/4

Stoke City were dismantled by Everton in a game I tipped them to be extremely competitive in.

The reality for Mark Hughes is that he possesses a slightly ageing squad who lack the ability to hack it with the top sides.

Cardiff were beaten by an efficient Arsenal side but will look to this match as an excellent opportunity for a first away win.

Jordan Mutch and Peter Whittingham will get far more joy against a more static Stoke midfield, as Fraizer Campbell continues to be the obvious goal threat for the Welsh outfit.

Stoke will need to rely on their physical prowess and as such may be able to avoid back-to-back defeats.

Walters, Crouch and Jones are at least goal threats as Nzonzi and Adam threaten from further out.

Betting Prediction: DRAW 24/10

This should end in a draw at 24/10 that will satisfy the away support far more than the Britannia faithful
