The first International break of the season is over, and we cross back to club football. The LaLiga table has six teams tied on seven points after three matches and no team has won all of their matches. Only Getafe and Alaves have lost all three fixtures. Real Madrid are top because of a superior goal difference while Sevilla, Valencia, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid are all below with a weaker goal difference.
Saturday 11 September
Levante 21/20
Draw 24/10
Rayo Vallecano 26/10
(18:30)
Levante will host Rayo Vallecano to kick off the fourth round. Both these sides have endured a bad start with only one win between the two in the six matches played. The hosts are yet to win after registering two draws and a defeat. Even though Vallecano have won a match the gap is only one point between the two because the visitors lost the other two. It’s hard to separate these two sides but because one is yet to win and the other is yet to lose, a draw looks a certainty here. Back these sides to share the spoils.
Athletic Bilbao 15/20
Draw 5/2
Mallorca 39/10
(21:00)
Mallorca has had a dream start to their campaign. Who would’ve thought that after three games played Los Piratas will be tied on points with the big guns? The visitors are yet to lose opening with a draw and back-to-back wins against Alaves and Espanyol. Just like their opponents, Athletic Bilbao are yet to lose recording two draws and three points over Celta de Vigo. I foresee another stalemate here, back the 5/2 draw in this match.
Sunday 12 September
Espanyol 31/10
Draw 23/10
Atletico Madrid 19/20
(14:00)
It doesn’t get any easier for Espanyol who just returned from the Segunda Division. The hosts are yet to win on their return to topflight as they’ve recorded two draws and a loss in their opening three matches. Atletico Madrid were very lucky not to suffer their first defeat of the season when Villarreal conceded a bizarre own goal in the 95th minute. With that said, the champions haven’t been convincing. Maybe the return of French star Antoine Griezmann will boost the team. Back Diego Simone’s men to collect maximum points.
Osasuna 15/10
Draw 21/10
Valencia 39/20
(16:15)
Osasuna take on Valencia in what promises to be an enthralling encounter. Only two points separate these two sides, with Valencia on seven. The hosts usually have a good record at home but weirdly enough they are yet to win in their backyard this season – drawing both matches played. Valencia have collected one point on the road after drawing their only match played away. The Bats are draw merchants, especially when playing away. Back a draw here at a valuable 21/10.
Cadiz 4/1
Draw 51/20
Real Sociedad 7/10
(18:30)
Real Sociedad have an opportunity to make it three wins on the bounce when they travel to a Cadiz team yet to win a match this season. After starting the campaign with a defeat to Barcelona, Sociedad bounced back with two consecutive wins against Vallecano and Levante keeping two clean sheets in the process. Cadiz have conceded five goals in their three matches which has let the team down a lot considering they’ve scored four. Back Real Sociedad to win against a shaky defence.
Real Madrid 4/10
Draw 4/1
Celta Vigo 58/10
(21:00)
After playing three games on the road, Real Madrid begin their home campaign with an interesting tie against Celta de Vigo. The table toppers will want to put a smile on their home fans after failing to snatch Kylian Mbappe from PSG. Madrid, however, do have Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema who both sit on two goals after scoring braces against Alaves and Levante. Los Blancos have scored eight, which is a clear indication that they do have enough fire power despite failing to get the French star. Real Madrid are a banker here.
Monday 13 September
Getafe 17/20
Draw 9/4
Elche 37/10
(20:00)
Granada 2/1
Draw 9/4
Real Betis 27/20
(22:00)
Struggling Granada host Real Betis to wrap up the round. The hosts have had a very bad start this season recording two draws and a defeat. Just like their opponents, Real Betis have drawn twice and lost once which is a terrible return for Manuel Pellegrini’s side that had such a good pre-season. We all expected big things from Betis, but they’ve struggled to get going. I can’t trust anyone on current form so I will back a draw here.
TREBLE @ 54/10
Atletico Madrid Win 1/1
Real Sociedad Win 15/20
Getafe Win 17/20
