Ulsan and Jeonbuk Motors won handsomely last weekend with both teams netting four goals each. Gangwon have climbed up to third after beating Incheon United 2-1 and things are going smoothly under the tutelage of Kim Byung-Soo, however, their failure to keep a clean sheet made last week’s treble lose. We’ll be hoping for better luck this time around. Try our 7/1 treble.
Saturday 13 June
Ulsan 13/20
Draw 26/10
Seongnam 4/1
(09:30)
Ulsan’s Brazilian talisman Junior Negoa’s six goals in the opening five matches saw him crowned Player of the Month. The hosts come off a convincing 4-0 win at Pohang Steelers. Seongnam coach Kim Nam-Il received the Manager of the Month award but there’s no time to celebrate as his troops’ unbeaten run was ended in a 2-1 defeat against Daegu. The visitors are unbeaten on the road, so don’t go into any exotic bets in this one. Go for the straight home win at 13/20.
Suwon Bluewings 14/10
Draw 22/10
Gangwon 37/20
(12:00)
Suwon Bluewings haven’t scored in two weeks and will be looking to Australian striker Adam Taggart to improve on his poor finishing and net his first goal of the season. Gangwon made it back-to-back wins with their first win on the road, a week after shocking the champions Jeonbuk Motors. The hosts went unbeaten in three meetings against Gangwon last season, picking up two wins. I’m backing Both Teams to Score (Yes) at 8/10, instead of picking a winner.
Jeonbuk Motors 1/5
Draw 47/10
Incheon United 25/2
(12:00)
Jeonbuk Motors are short-priced and are strong favourites by virtue of winning four times and losing once in five games. Incheon United are rock bottom at this early stage and they will need a miracle to penetrate the best defence in the league, who are yet to concede a goal on home soil as well. Take Home Win to Nil (Yes) at 6/10 to add value.
Sunday 14 June
Gwangju 31/20
Draw 2/1
Busan I’Park 18/10
(12:00)
Gwangju picked up their first win of the campaign in dramatic fashion. Brazilian Felipe capitalized on poor goalkeeping and bagged a 90th minute goal to edge Suwon Bluewings 1-0. Busan I’Park come into the clash with three consecutive draws and will be hoping to pick up a win. However, I’m tempted to back the draw at 2/1 odds.
Daegu 11/10
Draw 43/20
Seoul 49/20
(12:00)
Daegu ended a four-game winless run by picking up their first victory (2-1) at Seongnam. Seoul come into the clash with back-to-back defeats both on home turf and now encounter two away fixtures. A tightly-contested affair is expected. Take Draw in the Half Time market at 21/20.
TREBLE @ 7/1
Ulsan Win 13/20
Jeonbuk Motors – Home Win to Nil (Yes) 6/10
Gwangju vs Busan I’Park – Draw 2/1
