Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas is ‘very happy’ to see Amakhosi doing well and also revealed that he would consider coaching in the Premiership again.
The Italian tactician parted ways with the Soweto giants after only a few months in charge in 2018, but insists he bears the club no ill will and is pleased to see them at the top of the standings.
In his 21 games in charge of Chiefs, Solinas won seven, drew seven, and lost seven.
“With me, there’s no problem. I’m very happy to see them playing so well,” he told SunSport.
“I’m happy for Chiefs and also for Amakhosi fans. So, I wish them all the best.”
Asked whether he would consider a return to coaching in the Premiership, the 51-year-old responded positively.
“Yeah sure. Why not? Of course, I’ll love to coach in the PSL again,” he added.
Solinas also coached Free State Stars from 2015 to 2017, but he is currently without a club.
