Former Bafana Bafana star Siphiwe Tshabalala is not ready just yet to call time on his career.
Tshabala will forever be etched into Bafana folklore after scoring the first goal of the 2010 World Cup hosted in South Africa with an absolute scorcher of a long-range strike in a 1-1 draw with Mexico.
The 37-year-old was clubless for the entire duration of last season after being released by AmaZulu in the 2020/2021 season.
“Not yet retired and hopefully, I will still continue playing,” Tshabalala told KickOff.
“I am running my foundation successfully so we have a relief program currently which focuses on assisting the KwaZulu-Natal flood victims.
“Then we also have a school shoe initiative where we provide school shoes to kids from disadvantaged backgrounds.
“We have been currently busy with those projects and it is doing well.”
