AmaZulu president Sandile Zungu has played down the prospect of a major player exodus as the club enjoy an impressive opening to the 2026/2027 campaign.
The Durban outfit currently occupy third position in the Betway Premiership standings, with several players making a strong impression under head coach Arthur Zwane.
Zimbabwean striker Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya has emerged as the standout performer since arriving at the club, while Mlondi Mbanjwana, Nkosikhona Radebe and Athini Maqokolo have also caught the eye with their displays.
Their form could attract attention when the January transfer window opens, with AmaZulu potentially receiving lucrative proposals for some of their leading performers. Ngwenya, Mbanjwana, Radebe and Maqokolo are among those whose performances could make them appealing targets.
However, Zungu has assured the club’s supporters that AmaZulu do not anticipate losing any of their important players during the season.

“Not this season,” Zungu told Kick Off.
“I can confidently assure you that none of the starting players or regulars in the team will be leaving during this season.
“They will complete the season with AmaZulu, and this is a firm assurance from the president of AmaZulu Football Club.”
