Goalkeeper Salim Magoola has revealed it was an easy decision to decide to stay with Richards Bay.
The 29-year-old was recently reported to be a target for several clubs both locally and abroad.
Kaizer Chiefs, SuperSport United, AmaZulu, Chippa United as well as Tanzanian clubs Simba and Azam were said to be keen on signing Magoola.
The talented shot-stopper recently penned a new two-year contract with the Natal Rich Boyz.
Magoola told FARPost: “Personally, it’s a great pleasure to be here at Richards Bay because knowing that the whole season we’re building a team and a family together and it feels at home.
“I feel that it’s very safe when I’m with the team. And it was really, really a good idea, not only for me, for my family, friends and everyone close to me suggested that I stay around the club because we fought hard for it to stay up.
“And I really feel good, I feel at peace whenever I’m around the club, around the players because now we are like a family, a bond which we’re trying build is big in South African football as a Richards Bay family.”
