Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena admits he has some work to do to determine the threat posed by CAF Champions League quarter-final opponents Young Africans.
The Brazilians were paired with the Tanzanian Premier League champions and current league leaders when the draw was conducted in Cairo on Tuesday.
While Yanga have numerous domestic trophies, they are yet to win on the continent, but came close last season as they ended runners up in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Sundowns have, meanwhile, just one CAF Champions League trophy to their name, winning the competition in 2016.
Reflecting on the draw, Mokwena said in the Citizen: “My thoughts on the Champions League draw, I’m not sure yet.
“Of course I watched the draw but I don’t have immediate thoughts. I’ve got to watch the opponents closely.
“I’ve watched all the opponents and all the games in the Champions League but I watched as a coach and not as an analyst. I have to switch and unfortunately, I’ve got a nice FIFA break and my focus will be just be on Yanga.”
Mokwena’s focus is currently on his side’s Nedbank Cup last 16 clash with Maritzburg United on Sunday.
The Brazilians’ boss added: “I’ve got to focus a bit on the next game which is Maritzburg United. It’s a tough one and the tough ones is where everybody expects you to win.”
