ROYAL AM OUT FOR REVENGE AGAINST MAMELODI SUNDOWNS

Royal AM will be looking to end Mamelodi Sundowns’ invincible bid when they meet in Tuesday’s DStv Premiership match at the Harry Gwala Stadium.

Thwihli Thwahla stretched their streak without a win to five matches in the league following a 1-0 defeat to Sundowns on Saturday, marking their fourth consecutive loss.

Sitting 14th in the DStv Premiership standings, Royal AM hold a two-point cushion above the relegation playoff position (15th), currently occupied by Richards Bay. However, Thwihli Thwahla have a match in hand.

Meanwhile, Sundowns continue their unbeaten run, now reaching an impressive 50 matches in the league. They aim to be the first team in the PSL era to complete a season without a single loss.

Having clinched the DStv Premiership title with six matches remaining earlier this month, Masandawana are now eyeing to set new records by winning their final three matches.

Royal AM face no suspension worries, and the KwaZulu-Natal side have yet to report any injuries from their camp.

On the contrary, Sundowns will miss the suspended Mosa Lebusa, and Themba Zwane joins the club’s growing injury list ahead of their encounter with Royal AM.
