Ronald Pfumbidzai eyes a return to the Betway Premiership

Former SuperSport United defender Ronald Pfumbidzai says he hopes to return to the Betway Premiership.

The 29-year-old began his career in 2015 with CAPS United FC. He has played for Bloemfontein Celtic, Chippa United and SuperSport in the South African top-flight.

He returned home to Zimbabwe to join Scottland FC in the country’s second-tier as he awaited his papers to be registered as a South African citizen.

Pfumbidzai told iDiski Times:” “It’s a cooling period, plus I was waiting for my papers to be registered as a local that side.

“So, it came out a bit late, but everything is fine now, but I decided that I just can’t sit up until December. I have to do something. That’s why I went to a lower division so that I don’t have pressure.

“I just keep fit but to a team that is serious, that has ambition. They want promotion so I just said at least there I can push.”
