Richards Bay have announced the signing of Kenyan goalkeeper Ian Otieno.
The 30-year-old former Posta Rangers, AFC Leopards and Red Arrows shotstopper joins the Betway Premiership club from Zambian Super League team ZESCO United.
He was snapped up as a replacement for Jackson Mabokgwane, who has left the club.
A club post on social media read: “Richards Bay Football Club is thrilled to welcome Goalkeeper Ian Otieno.
“His proven track record and experience in international competitions, including the CAF Confederation Cup, will be invaluable to our squad.”
The Natal Rich Boys have been one of the most active clubs during the off-season, signing Fezile Gcaba (Mkhumbane Classic), Sbani Khumalo (Mkhumbane Classic), Siyethemba Sithebe (Kaizer Chiefs), Thabiso Kutumela (Mamelodi Sundowns), Keagan Allan (SuperSport United), Tlakusani Mthethwa (Moroka Swallows) and Thabang Sibanyoni (Mamelodi Sundowns).
