The 32-year-old will return to Mamelodi Sundowns for pre-season, but his future remains uncertain, with another loan or a permanent move still possible.
Goss spent the past four seasons away from Sundowns, initially joining SuperSport United on loan before remaining with the club after its top-flight status was acquired, relocated to Bloemfontein and rebranded as Siwelele FC ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The experienced shot-stopper enjoyed one of the strongest campaigns of his career, recording 14 clean sheets in 29 league appearances as Siwelele successfully retained their Betway Premiership status. His performances earned him a nomination for the league’s Goalkeeper of the Season award alongside Orlando Pirates’ Sipho Chaine and Kaizer Chiefs’ Brandon Petersen.
His season also culminated in a place in Bafana Bafana’s squad for the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup in the Americas. Although he did not make an appearance, with Ronwen Williams remaining South Africa’s first-choice goalkeeper, the call-up further highlighted his impressive form.

Questions now surround where the goalkeeper will play next season. Goss has previously expressed concerns about returning to Sundowns because of the fierce competition for the number one jersey, with Williams firmly established as first choice. Regular football remains a priority for the goalkeeper as he looks to maintain his place in the national team.
Sekhukhune United have emerged as a potential destination after the departure of Renaldo Leaner, with the club believed to be searching for an experienced goalkeeper. A move to Babina Noko has not been ruled out should Sundowns decide against keeping Goss in Miguel Cardoso’s squad.
Siwelele have also confirmed a significant squad overhaul ahead of the new campaign, with Happy Mashiane, Ghampani Lungu, Bohlale Ngwato, Neo Rapoo, Thabang Mahlangu, Lazola Maku, Kgaogelo Sekgota, Pogiso Sanoka, Enoch Quaicoe, Gape Moralo, Keanin Ayer and Lyle Lakay all departing the club.
