Samir Nurkovic is reportedly closing in on a move to SuperSport United.
The 32-year-old Serbian former Kaizer Chiefs striker is a free-agent having parted ways with TS Galaxy.
After leaving Chiefs, Nurkovic signed for Royal AM but the deal was terminated three months into what was meant to be a two-year deal.
He subsequently joined the Rockets last season and netted 10 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions.
But Nurkovic reportedly opted to leave the club having mainly been used as a substitute by Galaxy boss Sead Ramovic.
SuperSport are, meanwhile, reeling after an injury to Bradley Grobler and could look to replace him with Nurkovic.
According to FARPost: “SuperSport United have emerged as a potential destination for the Serbian forward.
“Nurkovic had previously been linked with AmaZulu FC, but a move failed to materialise due to disagreements over the transfer fee.”
