Anderlecht FC striker Knowledge Musona is reportedly on the radar of his former club Kaizer Chiefs with his current side looking to cut down their squad.
Musona is something of a legendary figure at Naturena for his exploits in front of goal in 2009/10, 2010/11 and 2013/14.
The Zimbabwe ace is currently unsettled with his team in Belgium despite signing a four-year deal with the Purple and White at the start of 2018/19.
In the first half of the last campaign he was loaned out to Lokeren and failed to really make an impact for that team as well.
With former Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany taking charge of Anderlecht, the club are reportedly wanting to shed at least 10 players from the squad.
As such, it seems Chiefs are on high alert to potentially land his services.
Speculation has it that Khama Billiat could make a return to Mamelodi Sundowns in a deal that could be worth up to R20 million.
If any deal comes to fruition, the windfall from that possible move seemingly may bankroll a return for Musona to Naturena.
Kickoff said: “South African giants Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be closely monitoring the situation between Anderlecht and their former striker.”
