AmaZulu FC have reportedly secured the signature of Malawian striker Gabadinho Mhango from Orlando Pirates.
Mhango had been a first-team regular for Pirates since arriving at the club in 2019 but fell out of favour over the past season due to purported discipline issues.
His demand, however, has never dropped especially after a successful Africa Cup of Nations tournament recently for the Flames in which he netted the goal of the tournament.
The diminutive marksman has previously plied his trade for Bloemfontein Celtic, Golden Arrows and the now-defunct Bidvest Wits and has scored 54 goals in 166 matches in total during his time in the PSL’s top-flight.
Zimbabwe international Ishmael Wadi from GladAfrica Championship outfit JDR Stars has also reportedly agreed terms with Usuthu. Wadi has made six appearances for the Warriors and scored one goal.
“Yes I can confirm that Gabadinho Mhango is going to AmaZulu,” an AmaZulu club insider told KickOff.
“The club is also adding Ishmael Wadi from JDR Stars.”
