Orlando Pirates sensation Relebohile Mofokeng has received his first Bafana Bafana call-up following his outstanding performance in the recently concluded 2023/2024 season.
The 19-year-old midfielder became a regular in the Pirates starting eleven and has also earned a nomination for Young Player of the Season.
Bafana coach Hugo Broos today announced his final 23-man squad that will travel to Uyo to face Nigeria on 7 June and also clash with Zimbabwe in Bloemfontein on 11 June.
Amongst the players who were included in the final team is FCSB defender Siyabonga Ngezana who recently won the Romanian SuperLiga and was included in the league’s team of the season.
Lyle Foster of the recently relegated Burnley also made his way back into the national team after missing this year’s AFCON while battling mental illness.
