Real Madrid have moved a step closer towards securing the services of Eden Hazard after reportedly agreeing a sizeable transfer fee with Chelsea.
A fee of 100m euros is believed to have been agreed between the two parties and Real head coach Zinedine Zidane appears close to getting his top summer target.
The Belgian international has long been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu and now a deal is believed to be close ahead of a long-awaited summer switch.
Hazard, who helped Chelsea win the Europa League title by beating Arsenal in the final last month, has enjoyed seven successful years at Stamford Bridge.
The 28-year-old managed to win two Europa League trophies, the Premier League title twice and an FA Cup during his time with the Blues.
However, the time for a new challenge appears to be here and Hazard looks set to join a Real Madrid side in desperate needs of his attacking skills after a season to forget in La Liga and the Champions League.
Zidane has long spoken of his admiration for the former Lille forward and now Real look set to land a player who has been one of the top performers in the Premier League for a number of years.
