7/4 Marumo Gallants | Draw 2/1 | TS Galaxy FC 16/10 (15:00)
Gallants returned to winning ways after experiencing three consecutive losses, they recently booked a spot in the quarterfinals of the Carling Knockout Cup after overcoming Polokwane City 3-2. Dan Malesela’s side will be looking to take that form to the league when clashing against TS Galaxy.
Sead Ramovic’s side suffered a major blow when two of their attackers received red cards in their clash against Chippa United. Dzenan Zajmovic and Victor Letsoalo are set to miss this match as they will be serving suspension. The Rockets are in search of their first league win after suffering three straight losses. Back this match to end in a draw.
17/10 Richards Bay | Draw 7/4 | Stellenbosch 33/20 (15:00)
The Durban-based team will be looking to build from their 1-0 win against Sekhukhune that booked their spot in the quarterfinals of the Carling Knockout Cup. They are winless in three matches in the league. Richards Bay managed to defeat Stellenbosch 2-1 in their last meeting and will be aiming to emulate that performance.
The Cape Winelands side had an impressive 2023-24 season finishing third on the log and qualifying for the CAF Confederations Cup. They started their league campaign with a 2-0 loss against Golden Arrows but look to have turned the tide. They are set to clash with Chippa United on Wednesday before turning their attention to Stellies. Bet on Stellies to win.
33/20 Royal AM | Draw 37/20 | Sekhukhune United 16/10 (15:00)
Troubled Royal AM will be looking to avoid a repeat of last season where they escaped relegation by the skin of their teeth. The team is currently serving a FIFA ban and is unable to register new players. The club’s DDC team has also been expelled from partaking in the competition, this has added to John Maduka’s woes.
Sekhukhune is enjoying a good start under the leadership of Kaitano Tembo and Lehlohonolo Seema. Sipho Mbule, who joined the club on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns, has settled well and his impressive performance on Sunday against Richards Bay was rewarded with a Man of the Match award. I see Sekhukhune edging Royal AM
19/10 SuperSport United | Draw 7/4 | Kaizer Chiefs 29/20 (17:30)
SuperSport United will have a chance at settling the score following their recent thrashing by Kaizer Chiefs. Gavin Hunt is having an unpleasant start to his 2024-25 campaign; he crashed out of the MTN8 and Carling Cup in the first round. He is under pressure to turn things around and defeating a formidable Chiefs side would be a great start in his bid to turn things around.
Nasreddine Nabi looks to have changed things for the better at Naturena, the side has won two matches and experienced one loss in their three league matches. He will be aiming to add to the woes of SuperSport. Ranga Chivaviro looks to have found his scoring boots; he has found the back of the net three times in four games. Another win for Chiefs.
13/10 Chippa United | Draw 18/10 | Golden Arrows 21/10 (20:00)
The Chilli Boys started their league campaign with a 2-1 loss against Orlando Pirates but managed to turn the situation around, avoiding defeat in three successive matches, recording two wins and one defeat. They will be facing Stellenbosch on Wednesday before they host Arrows.
Mabhuti Khenyeza will be out to avoid a fourth straight defeat following the 5-0 baptism received at the hands of Sundowns. A win in this match will ensure that Abafana Bes’thende remains in the top half of the log. The last match between the two ended in a 1-1 draw. Back this match to end in a draw.
