PREVIEW: German Bundesliga

We’re in the final run in for the German Bundesliga – just seven games to go. After adding salt to the wounds of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund must face another uphill battle as they challenge for the UEFA Champions League spots with a clash against Stuttgart. While Bayer Leverkusen continue to pursue invincible status.

Check out all gameweek 28 predications including a treble at 26/10.

Friday 5 April

8/10 Eintracht Frankfurt | Draw 11/4 | Werder Bremen 59/20 (20:30)

Werder continue their winless streak of five, with four successive losses, while Eintracht struggled to get a goal passed Union, they still secured a point. Get behind the home team.

Saturday 6 April

12/10 Cologne | Draw 5/2 | Bochum 41/20 (16:30)

One of a few relegation three pointers coming in the next few weeks, 17th placed Colonge welcome 16th place Bochum separated by seven points. What’s challenging is the fact that both sides are without a win in seven and five games respectively. Back both teams to score (yes) to play it safe.

17/5 Freiburg | Draw 3.2 | RB Leipzig 13/20 (16:30)

RB Leipzig has such great value on them this weekend, and with one loss to Freiburg in their last ten encounters, I’d get strongly behind the away side.

6/1 Heidenheimer | Draw 23/5 | Bayern Munich 3/10 (16:30)

After the 2-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund last time out, Bayern Munich have no real pressure in the league any longer and can now solely focus on UEFA Champions League. However, without even trying Bayern should wipe the floor with the home team.

9/20 Mainz | Draw 7/2 | Darmstadt 28/5 (16:30)

Darmstadt need points yesterday, but with such a weak defence Mainz are bound to find a goal or more. Get behind the home team with confidence.

23/5 Union | Draw 3/1 | Bayer Leverkusen 11/20 (16:30)

Union did well to hold out to a 0-0 draw last time out, and in past encounters Leverkusen have won just one of five encounters. This will be the toughest away game outside of the Dortmund encounter in hopes of going invincible this season, and I’d get behind a draw.

5/4 Borussia Dortmund | Draw 38/10 | Stuttgart 28/10 (19:30)

Dortmund pulled out all the stops to get one over Bayern in Der Klassiker, and this confidence should below over into the final run in for the season to retain a Champions League spot, but they face another tough opponent in Stuttgart, who are now just three points off Bayern. Both teams to score (yes) is the likely outcome here.

Sunday 7 April

6/5 Hoffenheim | Draw 11/4 | Augsburg 19/10 (14:30)

Augsburg were on the best win streak in the league (four wins) outside of log leaders Leverkusen, scoring 12 goals in just as many games before drawing 1-1 with Cologne last time out. I’d back the away team.

17/20 Wolfsburg | Draw 11/4 | Monchengladbach 11/4 (16:30)

There is some value on the Wolfsburg side, after breaking their 10-match winless streak with a 2-0 victory away from home. I’d back the home team on an outside bet.

TREBLE @ 26/10

RB Leipzig Win 4/10
