PREVIEW: GERMAN BUNDESLIGA

The final quarter of the German Bundesliga has arrived, and Bayer Leverkusen are ten points clear of the giants Bayern Munich, who despite their points tally have a superior goal difference thanks to Harry Kane’s 30 strikes.

Check out all gameweek 26 predications including a 13/1 multiple.

Friday 15 March

44/10 Cologne | Draw 34/10 | RB Leipzig 11/20 (21:30)

Opening up gameweek 26, relegation threatened Cologne welcome RB Leipzig after fighting to a 3-3 draw away from home. The Billy Goats have a tough ask ahead of them as RB Leipzig, who have scored in all but one of their away league games this season. Back both teams to score (yes).

Saturday 16 March

12/1 Darmstadt | Draw 13/2 | Bayern Munich 1/6 (16:30)

Harry Kane took his tally to 30 goals in 25 Bundesliga games, as well as providing a wonderful assist for Jamal Musiala, to become the first Bundesliga debutant to score four hat-tricks in the league. Back the Englishman to find the back of the net.

14/10 Heidenheimer | Draw 51/20 | Monchengladbach 17/10 (16:30)

Heidenheimer have failed to win in four consecutive fixtures on home soil – without a win this year. In similar contrast, Monchengladbach are without a win in 2024 on the road. The draw is likely.

8/10 Mainz | Draw 26/10 | Bochum 31/10 (16:30)

Mainz were annihilated by Bayern Munich 8-1 in their last encounter, while Bochum have conceded 11 goals, however, managed to score eight goals in return. In this battle at the bottom of the table a result is not cut and dry, but both teams to score (yes) is on the money.

1/1 Union Berlin | Draw 49/20 | Werder Bremen 26/10 (16:30)

Union have lost back-to-back fixtures 2-0, but facing Dortmund and a high-flying Stuttgart can be considered a write off with the season they are currently having. While close to relegation, Union are just five points adrift 10th placed Werder. Back the home team as an outside bet.

1/1 Wolfsburg | Draw 51/20 | Augsburg 24/10 (16:30)

Three wins on the trot for Augsburg and they’re value on the away team is still so high? In addition, the head-to-head record falls in favour of the away team, so I’d back them at 24/10.

51/20 Hoffenheim | Draw 29/20 | Stuttgart 17/20 (19:30)

Serhou Guirassy added another to his tally, totalling 21-goals for the Bundesliga season. I would easily back him to score, and the away win is good enough for all multiples.

Sunday 17 March

44/10 Freiburg | Draw 32/10 | Bayer Leverkusen 11/20 (16:30)

If it wasn’t obvious enough, backing Bayer Leverkusen every week is the only play in their fixture.

11/20 Borussia Dortmund | Draw 34/10 | Eintracht Frankfurt 42/10 (18:30)

Dortmund is holding onto that fourth spot for dear life, and a win over sixth Eintracht Frankfurt will leave just one team to fend off for the remainder of the season. Back the BvB.
