Mamelodi Sundowns Pitso Mosimane has issued a clear message to his current club that he is ready to sign a new contract.
Mosimane’s contract with Masadawana is due to expire at the end of next season and both parties are currently locked in negotiations.
The former SuperSport United mentor has made it clear that he wants to stay at the defending league champions.
Mosimane said: “Simple, I want to stay. I am here to stay.
“Let the contract be right, I will sign tomorrow, don’t think about it.
“I will sign tomorrow. Let the clauses be right, let the principles be right.”
Mosimane said previously he had turned down several offers in the past to stay at Sundowns.
He has said: “I didn’t take offers from big teams in South Africa. I didn’t take offers from big teams in Africa.
“I had an offer on the table from Qatar. More money than Sundowns. I stayed because I wanted to honour my contract.
“I stayed without looking at the money,” he said recently.
“They always say loyalty doesn’t pay the bills. I didn’t take the offers. I stayed. They say it will follow success, simple as that.
“The club is celebrating its 50th anniversary and I wanted to make a commitment to be part of that.”
