Pirates make offer for Sibisi

Golden Arrows defender Nkosinathi Sibisi

Orlando Pirates have reportedly agreed a deal with Golden Arrows to sign defender Nkosinathi Sibisi after he was linked with a possible move to Mamelodi Sundowns at one stage.

The Sowetan reports, in the wake of Pirates offloading four players, they have now tabled an offer to Arrows for the 25-year-old Sibisi.

“Arrows are keen to sell now because of the offer Pirates tabled compared to what Sundowns have put in the past,” an insider told Sowetan.

“Even though it is not clear how much they have put on the table, it is a good offer and Arrows are happy about it and will sell.”

The defender had a great season for Abafana Be’sthende having featured in 31 games having captained the side.

Last month he also got his first Bafana Bafana cap when he was called up for the friendly international against Uganda at Orlando Stadium.

So far Bucs have been rather busy in the transfer market having already acquired Monnapule Saleng, Goodman Mosele, Bandile Shandu and Kwanda Mngonyama that we are aware of.
