Polokwane City coach Phuti Mohafe is expecting all three points against Kaizer Chiefs in the Betway Premiership this weekend.
Rise and Shine find themselves in fifth place on the league standings with four points from their opening nine games.
Amakhosi are down in seventh with three victories as they continue to get used to life under new head coach Nasreddine Nabi.
Ahead of the game, Mohafe explained that it is a good time to face Chiefs and is planning on securing all three points at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.
The Polokwane boss said in the Sowetan: “They [Chiefs] play in transition and play a lot of long balls. We think it’s a match that we need most because we know how to play against teams that play that way, so I think we will do better against them.”
Mohafe added that Chiefs can still be a threat going forward while bemoaning his side’s lack of goals.
“Chiefs are a serious threat because when you check, you’ll see that they are also not doing that well,” added the City boss. “They are getting a win after some time.”
“We have a serious problem of not scoring. We are not scoring enough goals, it’s one goal there, no goals there, so we need to get our scoring correct. If we can get that part correct, then everything will be normal again.”
