Phil Foden is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Manchester City and the England national team.
Foden is a product of the youth development of Manchester City, he made his debut for the senior team in 2017 in a Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk at the age of 17, becoming the youngest English player to start a Champions League match.
He gained his first national team call-up in August 2020 where England was set to clash with Iceland and Denmark in the UEFA Nations League. He has since become a regular in the Three Lions set-up and was part of the squad that lost to Spain in the final of the EURO 2024 which was held in Germany.
