Patosi signs new deal in Iran

South African international midfielder Ayanda Patosi has signed a new deal with his Iranian club.
The 29-year-old Patosi’s contract at his Iranian side Foolad FC expired in June and he was seen training in Cape Town with former side Cape Town City FC during the off-season.
According to Soccer Laduma, Patosi has ended speculation about making a move back to South Africa by signing a new three-year-deal with Foolad, who he originally joined in January 2020 from UAE Pro League side FC Baniyas.
“Ayanda Patosi has decided to go back overseas to further his career. He has signed a new contract with Foolad. It’s a three-year deal,” confirmed a Soccer Laduma source.
